More about the Course

Discover the art of beautiful writing! Two styles – classically elegant and modernly creative – merge into an inspiring whole. Learn basic techniques and experiment with different materials and fonts. Whether for cards, poems or your personal project – there are no limits to your words. During this week you will practice for 3 hours a day and create the basis for your own calligraphic masterpieces.

Costs and Materials: In addition to the course fee, there are material costs of approx. CHF 15.00 – 20.00.- This includes ink, a pen with nibs and writing templates, which are to be paid directly to the course instructor on site. Brushes and other writing utensils are available.

 

 

 

 

 

Material list:

Practice paper, drawing or painting paper smooth A4

Black paper (pad) or a few individual sheets of 80 – 100mg

If you have a paint box, take it with you

Gouache paints (in tubes, whatever you have, otherwise I’ll borrow mine)

Water glass

Brush to mix paint

Brush no.2

Pipette

Palette or approx. 3 flat containers
