The time for gifts is almost around the corner and with it often come the headaches. Do you know this feeling? I do. I’ll give you a cure. You invest a little time and soon you feel a pleasant tingling inside you. The result at the end is amazing! You’ve done it. Your own creations are in front of you, you’re amazed about yourself. Joy reigns!
Calligraphy is an art that inspires enthusiasm in this digital world. I will give you a delightful taste of it on this day. Meet the three traditional calligraphic scripts to choose from, called Antiqua, Anglaise and Uniciale. They are written with two different nibs, the pointed and broad nib. Get to know them. The basis of each script will be practiced. I will give each of you, individual instructions. The important thing is to learn the basics, the processes, so that you can continue to practice at home and want to do so.
You will cut the lampshades to measure. The surface is worked on according to your own ideas, now your new calligraphic skills come into play. With a few colourful accents, the designs come out even better. These little lampshades placed over a wine glass make charming table decorations. They also make very personal, original gifts. And what’s special about them; they come from the heart.

The Thalwil train station is nearby. Free parking in the parallel street. - Course fee: CHF 250.00.- penholder, 2 nibs, ink, course materials.
- The course will take place with a minimum of 4 participants.
