Vinzenz Pallotti’s house, where the weekend course will take place, is on a plateau above Brunnen. From there you have a fantastic panoramic view of Lake Lucerne, Seelisberg, Rigi, the Fronalpstock behind the house and the Mythen. The associated Marien chapel is picturesquely situated on a hilltop above the lake, a place of silence surrounded by the beauty of nature. This wonderful location inspired me to include nature in our course topic.
The free, modern calligraphic script, which I also call dancing script, has transformable character traits which leaves plenty of room for individual expression. It is written with the pointed pen which is a unique tool strong enough to create bold, dramatic shapes, yet delicate enough to create thin hairlines. We devote ourselves to this script, the alphabet is practiced, a basis is created, from which airy, generous down and -upstrokes appear.
Slate stones and other small stones are integrated into the calligraphic texts. Whether keeping the stone in kind, painted or inscribed all the possibilities will bring scripture and stones into harmony. The colors of nature, the growing grasses and plants, everything will find its place on paper, painting board and on small canvas.

Course times incl. breaks & meals:
Fr. 5.30 pm – 9.15 pm course introduction
Sat. 9.00 am – 6.30 pm, after dinner leisure or practice on your own
Sun. 9.00 am – 3.00 pm

- Course costs: CHF 380.00.- incl. 2 small canvas pen holder, 2 nibs, course documents (ink can be purchased from me)
- Full board: CHF 153.00.- in the Vinzenz Pallotti house, incl. 2 nights, full board, tourist tax
- The course takes place with at least 6 participants, maximum 12 participants
- For external participants: without accommodation, with lunch and dinner (4 meals): CHF 110.00.- or on Sat. without dinner and practicing on your own: CHF 85.00.-

- At the same time, I ask you for a deposit of CHF 70.00 – if the course does not take place the amount will be refunded. After receipt of the deposit you will receive a confirmation of registration.
- By car: via Brunnen to Morschach, free parking spaces in front of the house
- By train: to Brunnen, from the railway station by postbus 504 to Morschach, duration 11 minutes, pick-up service to our accommadation
We will spend this weekend in a quiet oasis, surrounded by an impressive landscape. The “Swiss Path” hiking trail is right behind the house and the Lourdes Chapel is nearby. Take a walk in between, just lie down in the grass, reflect, dream and get inspired. Or wellness in the small sauna in the house. There will be no other guests apart from us. It is a contemplative place of power that will let creativity flow.
